From IT Geek to Triathlete

I've never really been much of an athlete. Ever since school, I was a bit of an IT geek. I did sports here and there, but I was always at the back of the pack gasping for air. I started mountain biking in 2006 and have since completed a few mtb marathons and a 90km road race or two... on the mtb. I got into multi-sport events in December '07 and have since completed a couple of Adventure Races and Sprint-Triathlons. Being in southern hemisphere, my goal is to get through winter without getting a cold / interrupting my training programme. I would like to do a multi-day Adventure Race and complete an Olympic distance Triathlon early in summer. I'd also like to do the 70.3 IronMan in Jan, but I might be in Canada during that time... let's see. My favorite sports include: cycling, running, swimming, adventure racing, triathlons, rowing, golf and hiking.
