I've never really been much of an athlete. Ever since school, I was a bit of an IT geek. I did sports here and there, but I was always at the back of the pack gasping for air. I started mountain biking in 2006 and have since completed a few mtb marathons and a 90km road race or two... on the mtb. I got into multi-sport events at the end of '07 and have since completed a couple of Adventure Races and Sprint-Triathlons. My goal for 2008 was to keep a steady training programme going, without getting sick in winter. Well that didn't happen. I was down with the flue, TWICE!! So my ambitions of doing a half-ironman early in 2009 flew right out the window. I still have to do an Olympic distance triathlon, so I'll try to get one below my belt early in 2009. My favorite sports include: cycling, running, swimming, adventure racing, triathlons, rowing, golf and hiking.

Those are the Hoyts. I am proud to say I have been audience to some of their many Boston Marathon runs. (I was born & raised in Mass.) You get tears in your eyes when they run by, just knowing their story. They are an amazing team!
