That’s better

Everything’s going swimmingly
Had my first swim for the summer and managed to do 1200m (2 sets of 600m) on the first go. Not bad I’d say. My technique feels more natural than before, but it might be the extra weight I put on that’s helping me be more buoyant. I’m almost 8kgs (18lbs) more than a year ago! I’m still very skinny though, so I don’t know where all that fat/muscle hides.

Won’t you take me to chunky town
Sheesh, I’ve picked up a lot of weight over winter. I weighed in at 77.6 kg tonight. Its the heaviest I’ve weighed, ever. My normal weight is around 72-73kg. Ok it was after a big dinner, but the is the second time I weighed myself this week and it’s been the same on both occasions. Bottom line, I picked up around 7-8kg over the past year. I was too skinny, but I shouldn’t let things get out of hand too much. I’m exercising quite a bit now, so it should come down again.
